Alarmel Valli
Internationally acclaimed as a creative artist whose work reveals the infinite spaces within the traditional form, Alarmel Valli bases her dance on the principle that Bharata Natyam is a superbly evocative language, where the dancer who has mastered and internalized the idiom can write her personal dance poetry.
Anita Ratnam
With a career spanning four decades and over 1000 performances in 15 countries, Anita is one of India's recognized dance icons.
Devesh Soneji
Devesh Soneji is a cultural historian and university professor based in Canada.
Hari Krishnan
Hari Krishnan is a dancer, choreographer, teacher and dance scholar specializing in both traditional Bharatanatyam as well as its contemporary abstractions.
Jonathan Hollander
Jonathan Hollander founded Battery Dance Company in 1976. He has choreographed over 60 works that the Company has presented throughout the U.S., Europe, South Asia and the Caribbean. He traveled to India as a Fulbright Lecturer in 1992, and has collaborated with leading dancers and musicians of India and Sri Lanka.
Lakshmi Viswanathan
Lakshmi Viswanathan, a disciple of Ellappa Pillai, is a seasoned dancer who is known for her excellent rendering of padams. She experiments with contemporary themes, without deviating from the classical traditional style.
Madurai R. Muralidaran
Madurai R. Muralidharan is a Bharata Natyam dancer and well respected guru. He is an extraordinary composer of dance music and rhythms, and has had several audio releases over the years.
M. V. N. Murthy
Madhavapeddy Murthy, a disciple of Vempatti Chinna Satyam, has established himself as a Kuchipudi dancer of international repute.
Narendra Kumar
Narendra Kumar, an student of the Dhananjayans, has earned a name for himself as a skilled Bharata Natyam dancer and choreographer. Eager to explore different dimensions in dance, he has studied martial arts such as Kalaripayyattu and Silambam.
Shambhavi Vaze
Shambhavi Vaze, Kathak danseuse from Pune, has had her training in Kathak dance from her mother and Kathak guru Maneesha Sathe.
